Sealant Backing Material and Joint Filler

Sika Backing Filler® material is extruded polyethylene closed-cell foam available in boards, and strips.

Usage

As a backing material (Bond - Breaker) for cold applied joint, and as a joint filler (Neoprene equivalent), due to its highly permanent elasticity, which is most efficient for these purposes.
